We care

We are part of the recycling economy of zinc and contribute to reducing the consumption of natural resources through our recycling process.

Harz Oxid GmbH has registered the raw material Waelz oxide (CAS 69012-63-1) as part of the REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.

How we do it?

Our process

HARZ OXID GMBH operates a regenerative thermal afterburning plant (RTO). With this technology, the basic principle is based on the use of several combined heat storage beds.

HEATING PROCESS
Here, the exhaust air from the processes is first heated to a required reaction temperature. Then the thermal conversion of pollutants takes place.
The aim of this complex process is to achieve an autothermal operating state, so that the system heats itself without the need for any further supply of primary energy.

STORAGE HEAT
The waste heat is then conducted with the exhaust air (clean air) through a second heat storage bed and the heat is stored there.
